Chicas Dance Mission
Chicas Dance was created with purpose. Yes, doing a waltz and a surprise dance is a typical tradition in quinceañeras, but with Chicas Dance it’s more than just checking off an activity for your special day. I am a firm believer that dance is one of the most rewarding forms of movement. Apart from being a great form of cardio, it also has the ability to empower. When you’re dancing, you have the opportunity to transform into someone else for a moment, to disconnect from the world and just move. This gives you confidence on and off the dance floor and that is exactly what my goal is.
At the age of 15, confidence and getting a sense of who you are and what you want is so important, especially in young women. I strive to teach far more than just a basic 1, 2 step, I strive to encourage growth and help young ladies channel the confidence they already have through dance.

FAQ:
Can I modify the packages?
Yes! I understand that each quinceanera's needs are different which is why each package can be modified to meet those needs. Please note that modification will cause a change in the price so please contact me if you wish to modify so I can give you an accurate quote.
How do payments work?
A 20% deposit is required to reserve the day and time of practices which is discussed prior to signing the contract. The remaining balance must be paid in at most 2 payments split up in any way you'd like, but before the day of event.
Can I meet with you before signing?
What if there is no court of honor?
Yes, I actually require a meeting with everyone who will be involved in the dance (Quinceanera, court of honor, parents, etc) to discuss details such as practice days and music selection. Meeting can either be held over Zoom or in person.
If you do not have a court of honor but would still like to dance, you most certainly can! Many people are worried that it would look odd without a court, but I can assure you it won't with the right choreography. In these cases I usually choreograph partner waltzes with mom, dad, grandparents, or any other special loved one that the quinceanera wishes to dance with. For the surprise dance, it can also be with family or it can be a solo fun dance with just the quinceanera. However, I'm always open to suggestions!
How are practices organized?
Your practice day and time is discussed in our meeting prior to signing the contract. Depending on the total hours your package includes, practices are typically held once a week for 1-2 hours. Ex: If your package includes 20 hours of practice, your practice would be 2 hours/ week for 10 weeks or 1 hour/ week for 20 weeks. Please note that this also depends on how far in advance you are reserving the services.
Is the music mix provided?
Yes. I create any of the music mixes that will be used to dance to and bring the music on the day of the event. I also ensure that the DJ has the music and coordinate with them in regards to the dance.
